Patience, My Dear

I asked God for someone whom I could give my love.
And He gave it to me. For many years he left me.
And I asked God again why He took it away from me.And God replied,
"My Daughter, you asked for him but he asked for someone else. It's not you."

This is a quote I received from a friend and it stroked me hard. It is actually a very sad love quote. On my perspective, I think it teaches us to be not too much expectant of things especially on love. It is not all the time that we get what we want or what we ask for. There is always a place and time for everything so we just wait. And let us not ask God for signs because it is a way of demanding Him. It is controlling God who is unique - according to my CL Class.
