This is it batchmates and friends! Finally we've come to the very end of our medialogs. There is no more turning back at this point because this is the last for our highschool year. Or maybe not. Who knows? Maybe we'll have more in the coming years. Anyway, my point is that we have learned a lot from this project. We have learned so much about media like its good and bad influences on us and to other people as well. Media is not just an entertainment for us but it is a part of our everyday lives. Imagine life without MEDIA. Can you? Of course you can but can you imagine yourself being there? In that place where there is no media? I bet it would be very hard because I cannot imagine myself being there.

"GREASE" is the word, no doubt it is. This is nothing compared to the movie "High School Musical" if you know what I mean. Oh yes, this movie is one of the best musicals of all time. It is an absolute classic with wonderful songs and brilliant performances. Grease is a sheer good film, a reminder of more innocent times. The story is about a growing romance between bad boy Danny Zuko (played by John Travolta) and new girl Sandy Olsson (played by Olivia Newton). They both want each other but Danny is obviously worried for his "street credibility" if he gets together with Sandy. But in the end, those two will end up being together.
The characters were absolutely amazing. I love T-Birds and the Pink Ladies, they rock! :D Anyone who loves to dance, sing and act will get a buzz with the choreographic sequences on the film. You will surely enjoy this film. Trust me, you will love it like I did! :)

Kate Hudson [Helen] is a single, beautiful and a successful woman. Good job, good salary, freedom, happiness, social life - Helen got all these! Do you think there is still something missing? Well, Helen thinks she is perfectly fine and is happy in her life now.. until her nephew and nieces is put into custody of her. This changed her life forever and she is not able to go back to her previous life again. Her life is a mess until John Corbett, a reverend comes to "raise Helen up!"
From this movie, I realized that there is nothing more that can make me happy than knowing that people loves me for who I am. They give me strength, hope and joy. You would not find any other people who can level them up. I also realized that taking responsibilities is an opportunity to be a better and stronger person. Do not be afraid for a responsibility is given to you because you can do it! :>

I dedicate this song to my fellow "Pep-mates". Just recently, we joined this competition for cheerleading. Like any other competitor would feel before any competition, we felt very nervous. We passed the eliminations, btw. So we're on the finals now. We did not expect or anything but the minute we knew our place, we felt very sad about it. Most of us cried or maybe all did. It was not that easy to accept it because we had reasons why we cried that hard. But now, I guess we moved on already. We realized that things are meant to happen for many reasons and we understood that. There were a lot of lessons we learned from this experience. We just thought of trying and trying until we reach our goal. :)

This movie was so much like a movie I watched before called, Freaky Friday. Just the thought of the lead actors having their bodies switched with each other is actually what happened in Freaky Friday. That's the only thing why I hated the movie. It did not have any originality on it when the climax of the story came. Although I can say that the actors were really good. They were able to portray their roles very much. Hey, it is hard if you are supposed to play a role of the opposite sex. Haha. I enjoyed a lot of scenes in this movie especially when the guy acts as a girl. It is very unusual, of course it is. :D There are also lessons to be learned from this movie. One is that popularity is never the way to get along with so many friends. It's actually stereotyped already that if you're popular -- hot, chick and.. st.. -- you will have many friends. It is not that, remember. Another thing is, just be yourself. Do not pretend that you are someone else. Ever.

What is up with this weighing scale? People are so much into diet nowadays. These set of people even include teenagers like me. In my opinion diet is not bad unless we do it the right way. We call it the balanced diet along with exercise. Some people associate diet with absolutely not eating anything or just having cereals for the whole day. When we say balanced diet, it is eating healthy foods and less of those fattening ones. If you do diet the wrong way it may cause you sickness. And who would like to be sick, right? I know we all want to be sexy and all that but please, let us watch our attitude toward this.

The words you see up there are words from the chorus of a song entitled "Best Friend" by P. Diddy featuring another artist. It is one of my favorite praise songs. The first time I heard the song, I did not think of it as a praise song because the introduction is rap. Maybe I just had the wrong impression because as you can see the lyrics are so nice. For me it is true, Jesus really is my Bestfriend. Whenever I do not have somoene to lean on to, I always think of Him. I know for sure that He will stay with me and hear what I have to stay. He had so many sacrifices in life and I believe that He did those out of love. This is also all about faith in God, to trust and lift up everything to Him. So whenever you feel like you are alone and there is no one that would be there for you, just look up, you'll see Him. :)

"Imagine life without music"
A lot of people say this line and I actually agree with them. Everyday as we wake up we hear different sounds around us. It may be pleasant for your morning or it could be as irritating that it would ruin your entire day. But can you imagine yourself waking up one day realizing that there is absolutely no sound everywhere you go? You would not even hear the sound of your footsteps because it is weirdly very silent. If I were to be placed in that position I would feel deaf. As a person, I am so much in love with music that I could not see myself not listening to any sound or music. It is not simply about the sounds I hear from my surroundings but what message it gives me. Music for me sets my mood. Whenever I am down or sad I would listen to some of my favorite "happy" songs and try to move on or change my mood. There are more reasons why music is important in life so let us all remember to have music in our everyday lives. :D

Alas! We have come to our last quarter for this schoolyear! I surely had fun while making my medialog entries and I hope all of you guys did too. This was a very fun way of expressing what we feel about media specifically, movies, songs, poems, televison shows and the list goes on. We were all good at this but sad to say it must come to an end. But we could still do this if we want to -- the thing is, it is not graded anymore. Hah. So this is it, batchmates. Coach carter, it is a film inspired by the true life of Coach Ken Carter in Richmond School in California. It tells a story about a basketball coach that will change the lives of his players forever.
I was moved by this film. I believe that many of the teenagers today will be able to get a lot of learning's and will be inspired when they get to see this movie.
Coach Carter uses respect as the basis of his coaching style. He has a different way in teaching his boys not only in the game but in life itself. He shows them that there is more in life after basketball that they can choose if they want to have a better life. Of course it was not easy for Coach Carter to make that happen. He had to withstand many obstacles but never in his mind had he thought of giving up. He wanted these boys to go to college and do well and in the end he was successful. His goal is not only to get his players to respect and believe in him as coach, but to respect and believe in each other and themselves.
I enjoyed watching this film and I even cried. It is based on the lives of true people and you can really get a lot of inspiration and realizations in this movie. I know I did. :)

It is definitely a good film. It reminds me of how every decision and every action has an impact, to me and to others also, sometimes much larger than I could imagine. It gave me the thought that everybody is indeed important in everyone's lives whoever they are and whatever it is that they do. It also showed me a whole new view on heaven, one that I would love to visit when I die. The movie has taught me a very good lesson, one that I would take until I grow up. This is a movie to watch for all ages! :)

Good Girl is a movie starring Jennifer Aniston and Jake Gylenhaal. I thought I would find the movie very interesting at first because of the lead characters but I was wrong. At the beginning of the film I thought it was okay but when it reached the middle part already, I found it really boring. Take notice of this, the setting was in Texas which made it more boring. I watched a film before which had Texas as the setting, and it was not good. So I thought that this movie was the same.
Movies should consider the setting because it has a big effect on the entire film and on the people watching it. Though the plot is okay because it teaches us if we should follow our hearts or our minds. I know it's kind of complicated but the movie had a lesson about this.
All in all, I would give the movie a 3 out of 5. I would suggest you NOT to watch this if you do not want to waste your time :)

If only. The title itself explains it. If you are given a chance to change or to relive something in a day, what would you do and who is the lucky person you are going to spend it with? If you ask me, well I really do not know. When I watched this movie, I ended up crying and if I'm going to watch this again, I bet I'll cry again. This is one of those movies wherein you can't help but cry the second time around you know.
The story is about a guy realizing what is like to really appreciate the things that was more important than his job or anything else. That even if he was only given a day to change things, because he knew at the end of the day that his girlfriend is going to die, he showed her everything, his life and his passionate love for her.
The direction of this film was excellent. The story was great and it was easy to follow but sometimes the scenes were really predictable. It was very well acted and I loved Jennifer Love in this movie. She did very well and Paul Nicholas (the leading guy) did a wonderful job also.
In this movie, I realized how time is really of the essence. Time, is precious and it is given to us that if we waste it, we'll regret it. Opportunities come and go. Live life like there's no tomorrow so that at least you'll have the feeling of satisfaction in life and in the end you would not end up saying, "If only".

Rent is a movie [musical too] set in New York's gritty East Village that tells the story of a group of bohemians struggling to live and pay for their rent. Along with this, these artists strive for success and acceptance while going through the obstacles of poverty, illness and the AIDS epidemic. It simply touched my heart because the movie itself made me realize that there are so much wonderful things in life than being just alive. It just lets us open our minds to the thought of having a normal life is a very wonderful blessing from God. People with AIDS actually know that they are dying still, they live life to the fullest. I appreciate those kind of peopl and I hope everyone will realize that we are so blessed compared to others. :)

The overall atmosphere, the costumes and sets were great. The soundtrack was mesmerizing, capturing the mood appropriately. The way the movie plays out, it's like a huge magic trick, with the audience hanging onto their seats to see how the trick unfolds. It was about two magicians, friends turned rivals, and their attempts and passionate drives to discredit each other. The movie showed the great value of secrets and how secrets can be used in fooling people. The biggest trick in the movie was about absolutely transporting/teleporting the magician. The trick made one magician practically insane over it, the other go to jail because of it. Tmovie ended rather dark and mysterious. Overall the movie was great and I liked how it made the viewers, like me, think during the course of the movie.

This movie surprised me. I never thought it will actually make me cry. Having Adam Sandler as the leading man in the film gives the viewers a whole bunch of reasons to think that it will just be one of Sandler's fun-filled works. This is what makes the movie enjoyable; the script's turn at the middle of the movie divides the comedic and dramatic parts of the movie. Sandler's great interpretation of a man who's hit with reality pretty hard on the face makes it heart wrenching that youill surely cry even the second time around.

My First Wedding is a movie I just recently watched with some friends. For me, it was kind of boring because the movie has no spark. Although you can clearly see that the leading actress is so beautiful and the plot of the story is nice. But there is one thing missing and I do not know what it is. Haha. It did not make me cry nor laugh too loud. It was just too boring that me and my friends did not pay that much attention. I think the movie needed a little bit of something to catch more attention from the viewers.
